Applying for the Visa

Once your Expression of Interest application is successful, you will receive an ‘invitation letter’ which will tell you the next steps for your application. You only have 60 days to complete it online, so do not waste any time! You can apply for your visa from outside or inside Australia.

The checklist of documents will help you gather all the paperwork you need for the application. Start collecting them as soon as possible.

The SkillSelect website runs through the steps for application, but remember that you cannot apply for any SkillSelect visa without lodging an Expression of Interest, and then receiving your invitation letter.
